Laptop Ratings

Having read numerous reviews and ratings of laptops I've found out there is no such thing as an objective review as all the ratings are either influenced by authors having a personal preference for a certain brand as he's gotten used to it or whatever the reason might be. Reading the reviews in the computer magazines and on the Internet I can't figure out how someone can get an opinion on some product he or she have used for a couple days in an lab like environment without the real life things happening like they're known to.

My ratings are based on my personal experiences and on feedback that I've received over the years. I got my first laptop in 1998 and have since than had seven different laptops of five of the manufacturers outlined on this web site under laptop reviews.

If I look at the manufacturer the one that I've now started to use and that I don't plan to switch from is Dell. Why? Because of the excellent customer service I've received and the overall quality of their laptops.

On my job we're all using Apple computers and I'm a proud user of a PowerBook G4. It's definitely the coolest laptop out there if you ask me and if you're working with graphics and very power hungry programs I deal with every day you can't go wrong.

So that's the two manufacturers I recommend. Whatever laptop you buy being Dell or Apple you won't make a mistake. You might find cheaper alternatives but I recommend these two.

Will you make a mistake if you buy laptops of the other manufacturers? Of course not! Based on your need and preferences you might find Apple and Dell computers to be awful so read the articles on this web site and I'm convinced you'll find a great laptops matching just what you need it to.

Laptop ratings unlike you would expect them but that's the best advice I can give you. :)
