What Do You Need a Laptop For?

Before going into the features and what you need to watch out for when buying a laptop you need to figure out what you'll use your laptop for. If you're going to be using your laptop for emails and surfing than you don't need a monster on the other hand if you plan to be doing a lot of video editing and running a lot of resource hungry programs you need a better laptop. That's why you need to think what you'll be using a laptop for as you can save a lot of money if you know what laptop you need.

Also when buying a laptop you need to think about its size and weight. If you're going to buy a laptop with a 15'' screen you need to know that it's going to be heavy and bulky so that you don't feel comfortable after a while because you have a hard time taking it with you.

I prefer smaller laptop because I used to have a really big one and realized after a while that even though it got a cool screen and a CD recorder it's just not worth carrying that heavy monster with me all the time. On the other hand I have a friend who I sold it to that loves it and doesn't mind that it's heavy and bulky as he can play games on it.
